Poem: "Madeline's Journey"

In the silent night, a baby's cry, Left at the gate, beneath the sky, An old couple came, with hearts so wide, Made Madeline their daughter, with love and pride.

Years passed by, the truth was found, Not by blood, but by love, they were bound, Her parents gone, her heart did weep, In search of answers, she'd lose sleep.

A bottle at the beach, a photo inside, A baby resembling her, with eyes so wide, A letter she wrote, with hopes so high, Sent adrift in the ocean, beneath the sky.

A friend's message, the truth revealed, Her parents lost in a tragedy, their fate sealed, She wept and prayed, her heart so sore, Till a scorpion's sting, ended her chore.

In the rain, she lay, with a weary smile, Knowing she'd reunite, in a little while, With her loved ones lost, in another life, Where there are no more tears, no more strife.

"What do you think about this? I'd love to hear your thoughts!"
